Pondering

I haven't really been blogging as regularly as I would like. I've been very wrapped up in my internship and preparing for college this fall, as well as my own thoughts. I spend most of my free time reading or just thinking about some things that cross my mind.
I think a lot about myself, the person that I am. It's pretty common for someone to say that they aren't confident, not comfortable with who they are, unhappy with the life they lead. I think a lot about my lie choices and how to avoid poor ones in the future. My confidence is nowhere near as great as I would like for it to be. I have my ups and downs; my ups aren't very high, and my downs are pretty low. I have been wondering if that is normal. Once in a great while, I will have a short amount of time, a day at the most, where I feel so proud of myself and like I could conquer the world. I wonder sometimes if I have too much negativity in my life, even though I do my best to keep it away from me.

I bought myself a denim vest on Amazon, and this was attached to the tag inside. Sometimes these little details really can make a difference. The phrase "You are beautiful" is also embroidered to the inside hem on the right flap. I just feel like at some point, these little thread letters could push me along.

My photographs from Water Festival are being posted HERE. Not all of them are mine, just the ones with my name above them. I am so grateful for this opportunity. Hopefully at the end of Waterfest, I can pull some of my best shots together for a blog post.

I also made Rosemary Lemonade. The jury is still out on this one. Another glass two and I'll have a better opinion on it. It's not a bad taste to start, just different.

  2. Rosemary is tricky! I'm not a huge fan of the taste myself, but I should try it in lemonade. It's an herb that can make or break a dish's flavor.
